Did a mocked up SSL / PR set setup with A days (squat / bench) and B days (deadlift / press days) that I did every MWF.
Started with 85% TM and did my deload TM test after 4 cycles (18 weeks total). PRs all around. Though I think I will be doing more upper-body style hypertrophy going forwards.
Lift 1RM 4th cycle test
Front Squat 132,5 kg 5x 132,5
Bench 120 kg 6 x 112,5
Deadlift 175 kg 4 x 170
Press 70 kg 3 x 70
BW 87 90
Because I only went 3x per week I would try to hit the muscle groups each workout that wasn't hit by the two main lifts.
A: Rows, Leg Curl, lat raise B: Pull Ups, Split Squat, Dumbbell Flys
I would change some of them up if I stalled, eg lat raise --> upright row

I have the iFlight Cidora SL5-E and the battery voltage used to work fine and I didn't change any power and battery settings but now it just shows 0.0v on the OSD. Does anyone know what's going on?

This is a weird post, but please hear me out and help me understand how to do what I am describing below. I need some help on how to construct an experiment that uses photography. I also need any HELP that someone with really good understanding of the optics of cameras and such can do.
THE LONG AND SHORT OF THIS PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERTISE NEED:
I'm looking to try to "re-create" a historical event in astronomy. Normally, you can do this easily with an astronomical simulator. However, this particular event needs something more complicated than that. I want to know how atmospheric refraction and air turbulence and changing contrast between the sky and the stars changes the view for a naked-eye astronomer. The BENEFITS of modern astronomy, telescopes, awesome layered images, long exposures, etc. is a WEAKNESS when it comes to trying to recreate what I'm doing.
In short, I need help on how to take a picture that EXACTLY MATCHES (as close as humanly possible) what an ordinary human eye sees. I will take ANY help (or bad news) I can get. I want to know how to take an astrophotography picture that is as close to human-eye resolution as possible. I am familiar with only the basics of photography (shutter speed, ISO, aperture, etc.), and do not have the know-how to fashion this experiment in a way that will reproduce a normal naked-eye viewing experience.
There is also a deadline. This experiment MUST be done on December 22, 2020, which is the date of the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn.
The Reason for the Experiment
I’ll just get to the core of the matter, but please don't stop reading because you think I am a kook. I know how crazy this sounds, but it is what it is. Using an ordinary astronomical simulator, some historical research, and re-translating ancient manuscripts from their original languages, I found the astronomical event that is “the Star of Bethlehem” in the Bible.
Yeah, yeah... I know what that sounds like. But stay with me here, and please keep reading. I'm not crazy, and if you read until the end of the post, I bet you'll agree.
The Background Research Done So Far
Back in 1968, Roger Sinnott published a famous article in Sky and Telescope magazine in which he identified two conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus on August 12 3BC and June 17 2 BC. He thought they could be related to the Star of Bethlehem. he first had the planets 12 arc minutes apart. The second had the planets 3 arc minutes apart. Sinnott concludes that this second conjunction (due to atmospheric refraction) would have looked like a single point of light in the sky. I had to get a copy of this article from the Library of Congress because there are no internet archives of Sky and Telescope available (even emailed the editors, no luck). But I got it.
With that copy, I looked up his footnotes and found that Sinnott did this measurement using Bryant Tuckerman’s “Planetary, Lunar and Solar Positions 601 B.C. to A.D. 1 at 5-Day and 10-Day Intervals,” from the 1960s to make these measurements. It was calculated using an IBM 704 computer. (A dinosaur). As a result, the accuracy of the measurements is atrocious, even though the work of Sinnott is admirable.
However, technology has advanced. If you use VSOP87) (which is basically standard and super-accurate for the past few thousand years), we find that the distances of Jupiter and Venus are way closer than Sinnott believed. Rather than 3 arc minutes, on June 17, 2 BC, the distance was on 30 arc SECONDS apart (from the location of Bethlehem). From some places on earth, this event was a mutual planetary occultation. This has been noted before in books like Ernest Martin’s “The Star of Bethlehem: The Star that Astonished the World.”
What I have found through my own research is that basically NOBODY pays attention to the earlier conjunction of August 12 3 BC, where the planets were in the eastern sky, about 30 degrees of separation from the Sun, visible between 3:45am and 5:20am (when the sun rose). From a viewing location of Baghdad, their distance was not 12 arc minutes, but instead ranged from 11 arc minutes to 9 arc minutes. I believe there is something MAJOR here that is overlooked.
As Evidence for this, I give you a few of my findings. There is a fun paper published by an ophthalmologist that tries to compare view of the stars with our modern way of measuring eye-sight. He found that two stars placed 12 arc minutes apart cannot be differentiated if one's vision is 20/30. That's a measure of visual "acuity." Additionally, some people who were older in his experiment couldn't even tell the two stars apart, even though their visual "acuity" is 20/20, because other factors such as contrast sensitivity may come into play.
As it relates to what naked-eye astronomers see and record, I have found evidence that pre-telescope naked eye astronomers saw conjunctions that were 7 arc minutes apart AT NIGHT (with perfect contrast) as "shining without visible space between them." (See this paper written by Salvo de Meis). Because of this, I think it is possible to demonstrate that the same happened to Jupiter and Venus, which were a distance of 9 arc minutes apart in the rising dawn of the Sun.
This gives the following understanding of the "Star of Bethlehem" that the Magi saw. "The Star" is the combined light of Jupiter and Venus. It is true that no astronomical body, either real or hypothetical has been able to be matched to the strange motion that we see described in Matthew 2: ("we have seen his star in the east " and "lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.") But the CONJUNCTION OF JUPITER AND VENUS INTO A SINGLE POINT OF LIGHT actually DOES fit! It's rather simple, really. "The Star" was seen on August 12, 3BC. Then it disappeared, and Jupiter and Venus "went before them" on their ordinary paths in the sky. Then, on June 17, 2 BC, "the star" that they had seen in the East ARRIVED back in a second conjunction. Then, it fell to the western horizon (because that's what all stars do) over a particular place from the perspective of a naked-eye observer of the stars. That perfectly fits what is described in Matthew 2, just not in the way we modern readers typically think of it.
But there is work to be done, especially on that first conjunction that occurred on August 12, 3BC between the hours of 3:45am and 5:20am, when Jupiter and Venus were between 11 and 9 arc minutes apart. I need to PROVE that it would have been seen as a SINGLE point of light in the sky.
What follows is the photographic "experiment" I plan to do, but I need some feedback from people with good photography knowledge to know where it falls short, and how it could be done. (I'm also looking for volunteers!)
The Opportunity for the Experiment
On December 22, 2020, Jupiter and Saturn will have a conjunction in the Western sky. They will be about 30 degrees from the Sun (Just like the August 12, 3 BC conjunction was). Depending on your location on earth and the time of day, these bodies will be between 8 arc minutes and 13 arc minutes apart.
This means we can almost RECREATE the August 12 3 BC conjunction that Sinnott first identified! What we need to do is record it (by taking a photograph of it) in a way that PRESERVES what a NAKED EYE OBSERVER would have seen. In other words: "No filter." No "image magnification." No "layered images." None of these "look at this photo of comet Neowise!" (Impressive and beautiful photography, but lies, all lies! Totally not accurate). We need to reproduce (as closely as possible) what the human eye sees.
The Plan for the Experiment
I THINK we can re-produce the human eye's view of the stars with a good camera, a 50mm lens, a good sensor, and a photograph from a short shutter-speed (no long exposures). By printing the photo at the correct size and scale, we can get an accurate distance of the two planets on December 22 on paper. This is how I think it can be done. (Please read with a critical eye).
I think we need a group of photographers at various locations on earth. (The West Coast is actually a good observations spot from what I have seen on my simulator). They need to use one of those star-tracker mounts to get a steady camera view. They need to use a 50mm camera lens (because as far as I know, that mimics the human eye). The photograph should include some object at a fixed distance from the camera to preserve the right SCALE of the final printed picture (because even if you don't zoom, if you print it out 5 times the size, that still causes the same problem). We would need to take ORDINARY pictures (no image stacking, but I admit, this is where my knowledge is most limited). We should do it throughout the evening on December 22, 2020, until the conjunction is no longer visible. The pictures should have a time-stamp. Using that time stamp, we will have a series of pictures that show what a naked-eye observer would see (with atmospheric turbulance and all) over time. This recrates ONE HALF of the conjunction: The planet Jupiter at 30 degrees of separation from the Sun.
Saturn is not as bright as Venus, but what Saturn CAN do is serve as the "place holder" for where Venus WILL GO when Venus also achieves an evening distance from the Sun of 30 degrees. The second part of the experiment is to wait until Venus reaches the same angular separation from the Sun. We repeat the experiment and get the data together. Then, using the location of Saturn as our place-marker, we use whatever photoshop wizardry we need to replace the light-output of Saturn with the accurate light-output of Venus. (This will happen sometime next year).
The Help I Need
If I do a crowd-source experiment of astro-photographers, I need to know WHAT INFORMATION I SHOULD GET FROM THESE OBSERVERS. I need to produce a standard fill-in-the-blank form for them. I know I need to know the Camera (so we know the sensor), the lens (so we know the effect on the image). I know we will need the observing location (city or lat and long). I know we will need some information on the weather (Humidity, barometric pressure, and after that, I have no idea).
If anyone can help me standardize how to get that "scale" measurement in the photo, I would greatly appreciate it. The concept is something I understand, but the execution is not. I would need to be able to explain it to my helpers.
When this is done, we will be able to recreate what the August 12, 3 BC conjunction looked like throughout that morning by reverse-engineering these observations of the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction and the Venus photographs.
That's the basic concept of the experiment, but I need some help from people who are much better at photography than me to take these pictures and who are more skilled in the optics to know how to render an accurate “real-life” view in a picture.

Proof That This Is Worth Your Time and That I'm not Crazy I know that people who usually claim that they've found the Star of Bethlehem are a little bit crazy and their theories are less-than-compelling. You might be wondering why I'm asking this on Reddit and not somewhere "credentialed." The real reason is that astronomy and history are hobbies of mine, and I don't have credentials. I am a lawyer. Academic journals do not listen to me or even read my papers (trust me, I've tried). I need to be so rock-solid on my findings that there are no ways to deny it.
Unfortunately, Reddit is the only place where people are as "into" their hobbies as I am.
But beyond that, I'm going to let you look into what I've found yourself. I'm going to reveal some of my research and link to the underlying sources.
As you know, my theory is that "the star" of Bethlehem is a pair of close conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus. That's a nice and coherent theory, but how can I PROVE it? Well, I think I can.
The Roman Historian Tacitus in his Histories at Book 5 Chapter 13 is talking about the Jewish Revolt in 70 AD, which was put down by Vespasian. As context for this revolt, he lists a bunch of “prodigies” or "omens" that were observed beforehand. These were the basis of a belief in the East (that is, the Parthian Empire) that “rulers, coming from Judaea, were to acquire universal empire” or (as recorded by Suetonius) "men coming from Judaea [would] rule the world." Initially, I wondered where such a prodigy in "the East" (not Judaea, but "the East") would have come from. I became suspicious that it might be the Star of Bethlehem when I realized that "the East" is the same place the Magi were from and where they returned.
However, I went back and looked at the document in its original Latin. The FIRST of these omens listed by Tacitus is translated into English as "There had been seen hosts joining battle in the skies," which in Latin is "visae per caelum concurrere acies." This translation seems to be made to agree with Josephus (Described inJewish Wars, Book 5, Chapter 5), who described another strange "prodigy" that occurred around this time:
on the one and twentieth day of the month Artemisius, [Jyar,] a certain prodigious and incredible phenomenon appeared: I suppose the account of it would seem to be a fable, were it not related by those that saw it, and were not the events that followed it of so considerable a nature as to deserve such signals; for, before sun-setting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were seen running about among the clouds, and surrounding of cities
However, I think this is a wrong translation. While the Latin word "acies" can be translated as "an army drawn up for battle," it is not so clear that Josephus and Tacitus are reporting the same thing. What I came to find is that "acies" really means is "sharpness" or "sharp tool" (think of swords drawn), or "points" or "pupil of the eye," and even, in a metaphorical sense: BRIGHTNESS (think of swords on a ling of battle gleaming in the sunlight). This is why it is paired with "armies" or "hosts" in a way that is not natural to English speakers with bombs for war, instead of blades. Check that link to the Latin dictionary entry if you don't believe me.
So there is a different way to translate it. This means the "prodigy" that is related to the belief that "men coming from Judaea would rule the world" was described as "[visae] was seen [per] in [caelum] the sky [concurrere] running together [acies] POINTS."
When you actually observe the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus on August 12, 3 BC and June 17 2 BC in an astronomical simulator, you can see that this description matech PERFECTLY to this event, which moves just like the gospel of Matthew describes. This is a description in a non-Biblical 1st century text of the actual Star of Bethlehem, connecting it to a conjunction of two "points" in the sky: the planets Jupiter and Venus.
CONCLUSION
If you can help me with this experiment that MUST be run on December 22, 2020, I can actually PROVE my point about the optics using science.

Alicia maintains hurricane-equivalent strength

Alicia has likely reached its peak intensity this afternoon. While small bursts of deep convection continue to flare up near Alicia's well-defined low-level center, cloud-top temperatures have gradually warmed over the past several hours. The cyclone has drifted south-southwestward over a cooler sea surface and has encountered much stronger northerly shear (greater than 20 knots), which is beginning to tilt the cyclone's vertical structure toward the south. The deteriorating environment is offset by robust poleward outflow.
Intensity estimates derived from satellite imagery analysis and recent scatterometer data indicate that Alicia is maintaining hurricane-equivalent strength, with maximum winds holding steady at 120 kilometers per hour, or 65 knots. Hello and thank you to anyone willing to give me some reassurance. I am a 20F and I had an echo done to rule out any structural issues, as I have a tentative diagnosis of POTS. My cardiologist is on break right now, and I am extremely anxious about some of the Echo results posted on my portal. Please let me know if I should be worried about any of these numbers.
The only numbers out of normal range I can see are E wave decel time: 121 msec and IVRT: 58 msec. I keep reading about diastolic dysfunction when deceleration time is so short. Also, there are two EF numbers. One says estimated at 64 and one says 55. My other numbers were all normal:

This is a weird post, but please hear me out and help me understand how to do what I am describing below. I need some help on how to construct an experiment that uses photography. I also need any HELP that someone with really good understanding of the optics of cameras and such can do.
THE LONG AND SHORT OF THIS PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERTISE NEED:
I'm looking to try to "re-create" a historical event in astronomy. Normally, you can do this easily with an astronomical simulator. However, this particular event needs something more complicated than that. I want to know how atmospheric refraction and air turbulence and changing contrast between the sky and the stars changes the view for a naked-eye astronomer. The BENEFITS of modern astronomy, telescopes, awesome layered images, long exposures, etc. is a WEAKNESS when it comes to trying to recreate what I'm doing.
In short, I need help on how to take a picture that EXACTLY MATCHES (as close as humanly possible) what an ordinary human eye sees. I will take ANY help I can get.
The Reason for the Experiment
I’ll just get to the core of the matter, but please don't stop reading because you think I am a kook. I know how crazy this sounds, but it is what it is. Using an ordinary astronomical simulator, some historical research, and re-translating ancient manuscripts from their original languages, I found the astronomical event that is “the Star of Bethlehem” in the Bible. Yeah, yeah... I know how crazy that sounds. But stay with me here until the end of this post.
The Background Research Done So Far
Back in 1968, Roger Sinnott published a famous article in Sky and Telescope magazine in which he identified two conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus on August 12 3BC and June 17 2 BC. He thought they could be related to the Star of Bethlehem. he first had the planets 12 arc minutes apart. The second had the planets 3 arc minutes apart. Sinnott concludes that this second conjunction (due to atmospheric refraction) would have looked like a single point of light in the sky. I had to get a copy of this article from the Library of Congress because there are no internet archives of Sky and Telescope available (even emailed the editors, no luck). But I got it.
With that copy, I looked up his footnotes and found that Sinnott did this measurement using Bryant Tuckerman’s “Planetary, Lunar and Solar Positions 601 B.C. to A.D. 1 at 5-Day and 10-Day Intervals,” from the 1960s to make these measurements. It was calculated using an IBM 704 computer. (A dinosaur). As a result, the accuracy of the measurements is atrocious, even though the work of Sinnott is admirable.
However, technology has advanced. If you use VSOP87) (which is basically standard and super-accurate for the past few thousand years), we find that the distances of Jupiter and Venus are way closer than Sinnott believed. Rather than 3 arc minutes, on June 17, 2 BC, the distance was on 30 arc SECONDS apart (from the location of Bethlehem). From some places on earth, this event was a mutual planetary occultation. This has been noted before in books like Ernest Martin’s “The Star of Bethlehem: The Star that Astonished the World.”
What I have found through my own research is that basically NOBODY pays attention to the earlier conjunction of August 12 3 BC, where the planets were in the eastern sky, about 30 degrees of separation from the Sun, visible between 3:45am and 5:20am (when the sun rose). From a viewing location of Baghdad, their distance was not 12 arc minutes, but instead ranged from 11 arc minutes to 9 arc minutes. I believe there is something MAJOR here that is overlooked.
As Evidence for this, I give you a few of my findings. There is a fun paper published by an ophthalmologist that tries to compare view of the stars with our modern way of measuring eye-sight. He found that two stars placed 12 arc minutes apart cannot be differentiated if one's vision is 20/30. That's a measure of visual "acuity." Additionally, some people who were older in his experiment couldn't even tell the two stars apart, even though their visual "acuity" is 20/20, because other factors such as contrast sensitivity may come into play.
As it relates to what naked-eye astronomers see and record, I have found evidence that pre-telescope naked eye astronomers saw conjunctions that were 7 arc minutes apart AT NIGHT (with perfect contrast) as "shining without visible space between them." (See this paper written by Salvo de Meis). Because of this, I think it is possible to demonstrate that the same happened to Jupiter and Venus, which were a distance of 9 arc minutes apart in the rising dawn of the Sun.
This gives the following understanding of the "Star of Bethelehm" that the Magi saw. "The Star" is the combined light of Jupiter and Venus. It is true that no astronomical body, either real or hypothetical has been able to be matched to the strange motion that we see described in Matthew 2: ("we have seen his star in the east " and "lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.") But the CONJUNCTION OF JUPITER AND VENUS INTO A SINGLE POINT OF LIGHT actually DOES fit! It's rather simple, really. "The Star" was seen on August 12, 3BC. Then it disappeared, and Jupiter and Venus "went before them" on their ordinary paths in the sky. Then, on June 17, 2 BC, "the star" that they had seen in the East ARRIVED back in a second conjunction. Then, it fell to the western horizon (because that's what all stars do) over a particular place from the perspective of a naked-eye observer of the stars. That perfectly fits what is described in Matthew 2, just not in the way we modern readers typically think of it.
But there is work to be done, especially on that first conjunction that was between 11 and 9 arc minutes apart. I need to PROVE that it would have been seen as a SINGLE point of light in the sky. Here's the photographic experiment I want to do, but I need some feedback from people with good photography knowledge to know where it falls short.
The Opportunity for the Experiment
We have an upcoming event: On December 22, 2020, Jupiter and Saturn will have a conjunction in the Western sky. They will be about 30 degrees from the Sun (Just like the August 12, 3 BC conjunction was).
This means we can almost RECREATE the August 12 3 BC conjunction that Sinnott first identified! What we need to do is record it (by taking a photograph of it) in a way that PRESERVES what a NAKED EYE OBSERVER would have seen. In other words: "No filter." No "image magnification." No "layered images." None of these "look at this comet neowise looks!" photo lies. (Impressive and beautiful photography, but not at all accurate).
The Plan for the Experiment
This is how I propose to do it. I think we need a group of photographers at various locations on earth. (The West Coast is actually a good observations spot from what I have seen on my simulator). They need to use one of those star-tracker mounts to get a steady camera view. They need to use a 50mm camera lens (because as far as I know, that mimics the human eye). The photograph should include some object at a fixed distance from the camera to preserve the right SCALE of the final printed picture (because even if you don't zoom, if you print it out 5 times the size, that still causes the same problem). We would need to take ORDINARY pictures (no image stacking, but I admit, this is where my knowledge is most limited). We should do it throughout the evening on December 22, 2020, until the conjunction is no longer visible. The pictures should have a time-stamp. Using that time stamp, we will have a series of pictures that show what a naked-eye observer would see (with atmospheric turbulance and all) over time. This recrates ONE HALF of the conjunction: The planet Jupiter at 30 degrees of separation from the Sun.
Saturn is not as bright as Venus, but what Saturn CAN do is serve as the "place holder" for where Venus WILL GO when Venus also achieves an evening distance from the Sun of 30 degrees. The second part of the experiment is to wait until Venus reaches the same angular separation from the Sun. We repeat the experiment and get the data together. Then, using the location of Saturn as our place-marker, we use whatever photoshop wizardry we need to replace the light-output of Saturn with the accurate light-output of Venus. (This will happen sometime next year).
The Help I Need
If I do a crowd-source experiment of astro-photographers, I need to know WHAT INFORMATION I SHOULD GET FROM THESE OBSERVERS. I need to produce a standard fill-in-the-blank form for them. I know I need to know the Camera (so we know the sensor), the lens (so we know the effect on the image). I know we will need the observing location (city or lat and long). I know we will need some information on the weather (Humidity, barometric pressure, and after that, I have no idea).
If anyone can help me standardize how to get that "scale" measurement in the photo, I would greatly appreciate it. The concept is something I understand, but the execution is not. I would need to be able to explain it to my helpers.
When this is done, we will be able to recreate what the August 12, 3 BC conjunction looked like throughout that morning by reverse-engineering these observations of the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction and the Venus photographs.
That's the basic concept of the experiment, but I need some help from people who are much better at photography than me to take these pictures and who are more skilled in the optics to know how to render an accurate “real-life” view in a picture.

Proof That This Is Worth Your Time and That I'm not Crazy I know that people who usually claim that they've found the Star of Bethlehem are a little bit crazy and their theories are less-than-compelling. You might be wondering why I'm asking this on Reddit and not somewhere "credentialed." The real reason is that astronomy and history are hobbies of mine, and I don't have credentials. I am a lawyer. Academic journals do not listen to me or even read my papers (trust me, I've tried). I need to be so rock-solid on my findings that there are no ways to deny it.

I bought four WD 12TB external drives when they were on sale few weeks ago. I’m totally new to this and I tried my best to research how to test them properly before shuck them.
I’ve followed this post for Terminal inputs (thanks to coollllmann1) and adjusted it for my mac.
All four drives have the exact same info:

I ran the badblocks test to all four drives consecutively (took a bit for this, found the command in this post, thanks to ImplicitEmpiricism):

The test lasted a bit more than one week (about 170 hours) and luckily electricity didn't go off.
After the test finished the mac crashed and I had to reboot, but the test seemed to run smoothly and all passed without errors.
Luckily, before the crash, I managed to check the SMART data for all the drives using: smartctl -a /dev/disk# and then saved the results:

Can I switch from Test-C to Test-E mid cycle?

Yes. They are pretty much interchangeable.

Over time it most likely will. You can avoid infertility by running hCG along side to simulate LH and keep sperm production.
That being said many people report getting their wives/girlfriends pregnant on cycle. Safe sex is still advised unless you are trying for a kiddo
Spermatogenesis and its restoration depends on two factors:
The stimulation of Sertoli cells by FSH for which we will use HMG (Menotropin).
And that to assure that intratesticular testosterone is in range, which will be achieved through the use of HCG.
There have been many studies on this, with different treatment protocols. If you want to recover or maintain spermatogenesis during / after a cycle of anabolic steroids or use of exogenous testosterone (TRT for example):
To keep it: Generally 250iu every other day should be sufficient. Another dosing procedure would be M/W/F injections.
A more aggressive dosage of 250iu every day can also be used. Starting with 250eod is generally recommend and can be adjusted if needed, based on a semen analysis.
To restore it: 1000-3000IU of HCG 3 times a week combined with 75-150IU 3 times a week of recombinant FSH.

Duration will have to be based on a semen quality analysis (This is a specific type of analysis that a doctor will have to perform, but on your own you can buy a test from a drug store to check sperm count, though they may not be as reliable. )

How do I mix hCG?

Generally hCG will come with a vial of lyophilized powder and an ampule of either sodium chloride solution or bacteriostatic water.
You want the bacteriostatic water. The bac water is intended for multiple uses and will inhibit bacteria growth.
The sodium chloride solution is intended to be used in a single injection, so using it over multiple injections it may begin to grow bacteria.
When you check your vial of lyophilized hCG it will generally be 5000iu, although it can come in other amounts.
Using 5000iu as the most common example; if you take 2ml of Bac Water and inject that slowly into your vial of 5000iu hCG, you then have 250iu per tenth of a ml (cc). So every tenth of your 1ml insulin syringe would be 250iu.
The other form hCG might come in is a liquid form. This is hCG in a solution with a preservative to keep it active. You may add bacteriostatic water to this in order to adjust your dosage if you need.
In either case your hCG should be kept in the refrigerator after reconstitution to preserve its shelf life.
The hCG should good for around 60 days. After that it will loose a little potency as time goes on.

Do I need to up my AI while using hCG?

Most likely not, although some people may have to. Generally wait to see if you develop e2 sides before upping your dosage.

Do I inject hCG Subcutaneous or Intramuscularly?

Either method is fine. IM injections will absorb the medicine quicker. Alternatively Subq offers an easier solution, less painful with a smaller gauge needle, less harmful to your muscle, and less risk to your sciatic nerve.

Will hCG desensitize the Leydig cells in the testes?

Desensitization is not something you really need to worry about. The studies that showed desensitized Leydig were performed on rats using much higher doses (comparatively) than used in humans. So unless you’re a rat, you shouldn’t worry.

Store the powder form of HCG at room temperature away from light, moisture, and heat. After mixing the powder with the liquid you must keep the mixture in the refrigerator. Carefully follow the mixing, storage, and expiration instructions that come with the brand of HCG you are using.
Expiration" in the pharmaceutical industry is defined as "The date placed on the containelabels of a drug product designating the time during which a batch of the product is expected to remain within the approved shelf life specifications if stored under defined conditions, and after which it may not be used." In other words a drug will expire once it falls outside it's acceptable specifications of pH, potency, appearance, etc the primary factor being potency. Once the active ingredient falls outside 90 - 110% its potency the medication is considered to be expired. So a drug that has 89% its listed potency is by FDA and USP standards no longer suitable for use.
HCG is an interesting medication though... Unlike most drugs it's acceptable potency range according to its USP monograph is 80 - 125%. This is due to the fact that it is measured in International Units (IU) and not milligrams (mg). Since the analytical test to measure potency in IUs is not as accurate as the test used to measure potency by mass USP gives HCG the wider potency range. This is true of other medications measured in IUs.
Since the acceptable potency range and the therapeutic index for HCG are quite large a compounder can actually make the medication well above 100% and still be within the acceptable limits. Brand name HCG (source removed) actually states a 60 day expiration date on it's HCG and I've tested their vials to be within 95-100% potency. You can imagine how long the expiration date would be if the HCG was made at 115% or even 125% potency.
I know compounders that have done long term stability studies on HCG showing it to be quite stable up to 90 days under refrigeration. To be conservative most compounders place 30-60 day Beyond Use Dates on their preparations just as we do. Since the Beyond Use Date starts the moment the HCG powder touches water it is important to make sure you get your HCG from a pharmacy that Freeze Dries it's HCG to prevent getting a batch that has already been reconstituted and started to degrade.

Can I inject my hCG in the same syringe as my testosterone?

Absolutely.
Do not preload hCG with your oils since hCG needs to be refrigerated and oils will 'Crash' (separate from the chemicals used to suspend the hormone in the carrier oil) if refrigerated.

I just pinned and a little oil leaked out, do I need to inject more?

No. It wasn’t enough to worry about.

I just pinned and blood came shooting out, what do I do?

This kind of thing happens from time to time when you are injecting. Just clean up and move along with your day. The site may bruise a little bit this is normal as well.

Can I reuse my needles?

No. Needles cost pennies a piece and it’s just good practice to use a new needle and syringe each time you inject.
You should be using a new needle to draw from your vial each time.

How do you dispose of used needles?

A sharps container is the best option. They are cheep and readily available.
If this isn’t an option any hard plastic container will work. Make sure that once full you tape the lid shut and write ”SHARPS” on the container with a bold pen, like a sharpie.
Check with your local municipality on how to dispose of your container. Some pharmacies may accept them. If not throw the closed container in the garbage.
Never throw dirty needles into the garbage unprotected. This is a biohazard!*

How do you backload a syringe?

Take a larger gauge needle/syringe and draw out the desired amount of oil from your vials.
Get you slin pins ready. Pull the stopper all the way out. Grab your loaded syringe and inject into each pin the desired amount (with the cap still on the pin).
Carefully finesse the stopper back in, remove the cap, flip the syringe needle side up, and push the air out of the slin pin.

I injected and the spot is sore now. Is that normal?

It’s called PIP (Post Injection Pain) and it’s normal.

Most likely not. You probably got a sub-q leak. If you’re really worried about it you can draw a circle around the red spot with a sharpie and watch to see if it grows outside the line. It’s pretty rare.

I have puffy nipples. Is it gyno?

Probably not. Gyno is a hard pea sized lump behind the nipple. If there is no hard lump it isn’t gyno. It is also usually painful when it is growing.

Is it possible to get gyno post cycle?

It is reported to happen. If this happens you may need to jump back on a SERM and get bloodwork to be able to tell what exactly is going on. Then you can address the underlying issue causing the gyno.

How long should I take off between my cycles?

Generally speaking: Time on + PCT = Time Off
Blood work will tell the full tale. The point is you want your body to fully recover lipids and give it a break between cycles.

That being said there is no harm in using them either if it makes you feel better. Just don’t be dirty and you’ll be fine.

Can I drink alcohol on cycle? If I drink on cycle anyways should I skip my oral dosage for the day?

You should definitely be limiting alcohol on cycle. While some injectable steroids like testosterone aren’t very taxing on the liver, orals can, be so it’s best practice to avoid alcohol.
Skipping your dosage for a day to drink instead won’t do anything to save your liver any stress.

Would tapering off testosterone make recovery easier?

Nope it doesn’t work like that. The ester attached to the testosterone will taper it out of your system. By gradually dropping the dosage you’re just keeping you body suppressed for longer and will still have to wait the two weeks (assuming it’s E or C) while the ester clears.

Tren I'm having trouble with finding conclusive studies. It has to do with the metabolites 17α-trenbolone, 17β-trenbolone and trendione. The half life of each are relatively varied depending on source (all of which range between 1-4 days in cattle). The thing is, all the metabolites are able to convert into one another which effectively "resets" (not completely but gets the point across) the elimination time. (Had to read like 6 articles to put all this together)
Its completely understandable that it could take up to six months for all the metabolites to finally be excreted due to the constant conversion on the metabolites, but I can't find a source that confirms this "six month" figure that we throw out.

Orals all at once or spaced out throughout the day?

It honestly doesn’t matter. Taking some orals all at once pre-workout can give an extra pump during your workouts. Taking them spaced out during the day will give more stable blood levels. Either way you choose to go the gains will be pretty identical.

Can I take orals only on workout days?

Until further studies come out that support a loss of a day(s), and due to an orals already short half life, the current recommendation it to run the oral all the way through the intended cycle duration to allow the body to efficiently and effectively utilize said androgen.

I’m scared of needles why shouldn’t I do an oral only cycle?

Quality muscle takes time to grow. A 4-6 week oral cycle is not enough time to make quality gains.
Also without a test base you will be shutting down you HPTA and have no circulating testosterone to keep you feeling normal.
You’ll have to deal with low t symptoms on cycle as well as during recover, which can make it harder to hold onto anything you’ve gained.

How much mass do you put on 20mg sdrol (dbol, adrol, var, etc) in 4-6 weeks?

No one can accurately answer this question. This is all dependent on your diet and training routines.

I’ve got a study that shows multiple doses and the difference in 300 and 600 weekly is significant.
While changes in strength are relatively the same the amount of muscle is almost double that of the smaller dose.

First: let me dumb down why androgen receptors do NOT desensitize and that you do NOT run out of androgen receptors.
The receptor testosterone binds to is androgenic receptor NR3C4 (some others, but that’s the major). That is where both DHT and testosterone bind to. It is a nuclear receptor, meaning it’s not on the cell surface, but on the nucleus itself. What happens when testosterone binds to it? Testosterone (or DHT which is more potent) enters the nucleus and induce gene expression, it up-regulates the expression of various proteins, most notable IGFR1 and other goodies that increase muscle growth and protein synthesis. Irrelevant. Here’s what else happens: induced acetylation of the histone portion containing the genetic code for androgenic receptors. Acetylation of a histone allows the increase in transcription of the androgenic receptor mRNA, leading to increased protein expression of AR receptors. It’s (to a minor extent) a positive feedback mechanism. The more binding to AR, the more androgen receptors will be expressed.

There is competitive binding to androgenic receptors, that being said, as androgens bind to AR, it creates a feedback loop of expressing MORE androgen receptors, allowing for MORE binding. Hi all,
I recently switched my project from Uno to Mega. I rewrote the code but my motors did not spin as required. Only one motor would respond correctly.
As far as I can see the problem is with the l298n chip because I cannot measure a voltage difference for the output 1/2 when either input 1 or 2 are high. Is this troubleshooting correct? Did I somehow damage the chip?

2 runs of a 'Wave LP'-inspired LP

My history

History of LP. You can find my training results under my profile where all my past submitted program reviews are.
Background for this program: back to working a full-time job, now with a desk clerk so that I have more time to do actual work. That means I settled on a 4 days per week routine. I also wanted to bite the bullet that, for better or worse, that my lifts actually improve on submax volume and get better used to that.
Beyond the resistance training in this program I started working out at a new gym where I would run the 4 km to and take the bus back. Running wasn't programmed, but was usually some kind of fartlek

The program that inspired me

Wave LP is a custom application by ctye85 of General Gainz by gzcl.
In short each wave / block goes from an easy XRM in T1/T2 to a hard before it resets in the next wave. Each wave is 4 weeks, making this a 16 week program.

The program is a 4 day split alternating between Squat / Bench and Deadlift / Bench days, with 1 of the lifts as T1 each day and the other as T2, switching for the second day.

Modifications

I made each tier sets across programmed with percentages. This means that instead of topset + downsets, I would simply run sets across. I kept the reps the same, but opted for 4 sets per slot instead. For example, T1 would look like this:

T2 simply used 10s, 8s, 7s and 6s instead, starting at 60% (jumping to 65% for 8s)
The last week of each block had an optional AMRAP for T1/2 so that I would take the last set for as many reps as possible. If I got 1-2 reps more than the minimum, I would up the TM for that lift by 2.5 kg, 3-4 by 5 kg and 5+ 7.5 kg.
Opting to focus a bit on weakpoints for my bench, I ran Pin Press and Floor Press for my Bench T2s, Paused Bench and OHP for T1s, Block Pulls for deads T2 and Back Squat for both tiers. In the second block I switched to WG Paused and t-shirt presses to Bench T2, Pause Deads for Deads T2.
Each day had 50-100 reps of push 25-50 reps of pull and single leg / core assistance inspired by 531 Forever.
After running these 2 waves, I ran a short 4 week taper based on the same GZCL peaking template I've used the last couple of times I've peaked.

Results and diet

I continued to eat whatever I wanted, gained some weight over these 35 weeks.

2020.10.30 02:57 FlippinFlags 28 months in SE Asia: Singapore Malaysia Thailand Cambodia Laos Vietnam Philippines (14K total budget)

I'll only cover basic itineraries but feel free to ask if you want specifics or favourites.
Singapore - 3 days. I think it was enough to see the main sites. If you eat at Hawker Centers food is $1.50 per small meal. I did Couchsurfing which is super easy in SE Asia. But otherwise hostels are $10+.
Malaysia - 2 weeks - Kuala Lumpur - most call it the city with no soul and I agree. Penang was cool. Hostels were $5 everywhere I went. It seems either you love or hate the food in Malaysia. I personally hated it and that's why I left after only two weeks.
Thailand - 3 months - Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Pai - Mae Hong Son Loop by motorbike - Chiang Rai - Koh Phi Phi - Koh Samui - Koh Tao - Koh Phagnan. Food is amazing and right up there with Turkish and Mexican (in Mexico). Hostels are $2-5 in the entire country.
Side Note: Koh Phagnan gets a bad rap saying it's just a party island and I completely disagree. I went there for the FMP and yes it's crazy that their was 20,000 people on one beach many partying for 2-3 days without sleep. But as soon as you leave the FMP area the rest of the island is like a ghost town with almost no tourists.. amazing beaches and only a handful of tourists. It's hard to understand how that's possible but it seems most who've been there agree. So I recommend going there whether or not you care about the FMP if you're on the fence.
Cambodia - 2 weeks - Siem Reap - Phnom Penh - Kampot - Koh Rong - thought the islands in Thailand were way better. Hostels are $2-5 in the entire country.
Laos: 2 weeks - Don Det (highly recommended) Vientiane - Pakse Loop by motorbike lots of waterfalls (amazing) - Vang Vieng (highly recommended lots to do in the area. (place gets a bad rep as a party place but most of those reviews are old - government changed everything - did the tubing and there was nobody drunk or acting rowdy. Luang Prabang (lots of people like this town I didn't really care for it - too fake tourist town for me) I know Laos gets skipped by a lot of people - but like most people who've been there "I love Laos" and go if you can. Hostels are $2-5 in the entire country. Some were $2 with breakfast and a pool.
Vietnam - 3 months - Ha Noi - Cat Ba/Ha Long Bay - Sa Pa - Da Lat - Hoi An (personally didn't like as it's a little too much made up fake touristy looking for me) DaNang - Saigon Ho Chi Minh City. Hostels were the nicest and cleanest in VN. $1-3 in the entire country. Cheapest one was $.87 with AC and access to 3 pools, pool table etc etc etc. I spent $500 total in 3 months in Vietnam.
I bought a motorbike and rode 3 months from China to Saigon camping in my tent most nights so I won't list all the cities. Added the link at the end of post.
Philippines - Manila - Coron - El Nido - Port Barton - Puerta Princessa - Cebu City - Moalboal - Malapasqcua. Food is terrible (street food) - lots of fat and bone in most meat, or parts of the chicken and pig most tourists won't want to eat) very little vegetables, no flavor, no spice.
I find it noticibly poorer here than the other countries and it's not even close. Mostly very friendly people. Budget hostels are generally pretty gross here, old, dirty, lots of things broken, and double the price of the other country.
Most hostels are $5-10 a night. Internet is always a struggle here too.. the whole island of Palawan was without internet for over a month when I was there. If it does work it's slow and spotty.
Food: In every single town and city in all the above countries you can get a local street food meal for $1-1.50. Every single one. All you have to do is walk 5-10 minutes in any direction away from the tourist area. Tourist or Western style food (burgers pizza etc) will be 5-10x the price.
Crossing Borders: Lots of scamming - fake insurance - fake entry and exit fees etc. Bus drivers making up fake new government laws etc - So do some research ahead of time.
I did a long post here on Reddit of you want to read about it - (link below) when crossing from Cambodia to Laos where I had a lengthy stand off with border agents trying to scam me out of $3. I know.. I know.. "just pay the $3" .. I just don't like being scammed or paying bribes.. and if more people make a stand.. these scams will go away.
All of that isn't a huge deal just something to be aware of.
Scooters and motorbikes: Yes it can be dangerous and check your insurance before riding but there is absolutely no better way to go around many of the tourist places in these countries. 95% of accidents seem to be newbies going two on scooter or going up or down hills or corners with gravel or rocks.
I srongly discourage newbies from riding two on a scooter if your brand new. It's just too much top heavy weight if you're a beginner.
I learned in Thailand and disagree with most who say it's a bad country to learn in as there's huge shoulders everywhere, roads aren't crazy busy like other countries in the region, and the roads are good compared to Laos Cambodia or the Philippines.
So I'd say if you're going to learn it's a great place to do it. But learning at home is probably best. Just don't learn in a huge city like Bangkok.
Also get an IDP (International Drivers Permit) before leaving your home country as it'll save you fines and the stress of always looking over your shoulder or the rare huge fine $1000+ and motorbike impoundment. I paid 4-5 fines for $3-10 in Thailand and Vietnam. And blew part many other checkpoints where they told me to stop but pretended not to notice. It's stressful.. get yourself the IDP. AAA sells them in the USA.
Scooter rental is usually $5 a day. I've paid as little as $3 and I think $8 was the most.
For those wanting to stay in these countries longer - you can get studios in all the counties except Singapore for around $100-200 per month in most cities.
I'm still in the Philippines now and I pay $70 per month for a large (for Asia) studio in a nice clean well kept building and they even have $60 per month studios here too. Yes that's a $60-70 per month rental price.
Some parting tips. Agoda.com and Booking.com are way cheaper and have way more options than Hostelworld.com in SE Asia.
Cheaper 95% of the time, usually 50-100% cheaper.
I and most people I met all agreed once you figured it out. Hostelworld is mostly a waste of time in SE Asia.
Flights are sometimes cheaper than taking the bus. I took a bus in Thailand for like 12-13 hours for like $20 and the flight was $10.
12go.asia (wierd website I know) is what most people use that know about if for booking buses and ferries in Thailand and Cambodia I think..
